The film tells the story of Danish Qureshi (played by Ayushmann Khurana), a young man who gets involved with the local gangster, Shahid (played by Naseeruddin Shah). As Danish rises through the ranks, he becomes embroiled in a violent gang war between the Qureshi and Maniyar gangs.
