VR Kanojo is a masterpiece of VR engineering, but a mediocre desktop game. The keyboard and mouse "work" in the sense that you can launch the game, look around, and trigger the main story beats. However, the charming intimacy of brushing Sakura’s hair or the precision of removing her school uniform is lost without motion controls.
