The film follows , an American priest working in a small Mexican parish. During a routine exorcism, Father Peter is overcome by pride and a moment of lust, leading him to commit a carnal act while possessed by the demon. He manages to trap the demon inside his own body, but years later, the entity resurfaces to torment a new victim. To save her, Peter must confront his own dark secret and the demon that now lives within him.
