Installing the font is only half the battle. To type correctly in Vietnamese using Unishx UPD, ensure your input software (like or EVKey ) is set to Unicode . Using the wrong input method with a Unicode font will result in the very errors you’re trying to avoid.
After download, check the version. Right-click the font file > Properties > Details. Look for: tai font vn unishx upd
