Unlike traditional village dramas where the female protagonist is often submissive or virtuous to a fault, Babli is characterized by her modern outlook and refusal to be tamed. The plot thickens when a large portion of the village’s male population becomes obsessed with her. The story takes a dramatic turn when egos clash, leading to a chaotic situation where the men try to "claim" her, while Babli fights to maintain her autonomy and dignity.
