Unlike typical Punjabi romantic comedies, this film pushed the boundaries of technical capability in regional cinema. The sound design, specifically during the mortar shelling sequences, and the cinematography by Hemant K. Kanekar, attempted to match the standards of Bollywood war films like Border (1997) or URI: The Surgical Strike (2019).
