Power off the Vmax V17. Connect it to the PC via USB while holding the boot key (usually the "OK" center button or the "Call" button).
A corrupted NVRAM partition can lead to "Invalid IMEI" or "No Service." Flashing the original Vmax V17 firmware restores the stock NVRAM settings.
