The peace is disrupted when another tenant, Wadigapatuna (), enters the picture. Wadigapatuna is a selfish businessman who soon becomes the rival of Soyza and his friends as they all compete for the affection of Kanthi ( Sabeetha Perera ), the beautiful eldest daughter of the hostel owner. The film's humor stems from the increasingly ridiculous tricks the housemates use to sabotage Wadigapatuna’s chances, including a famous scene where Don Sirisena disguises himself as a pregnant woman to frame their rival.
