Version 4.40 modifies the TAL (Total Application Layer) execution sequence. Previously, flashing certain ECUs (like the Body Domain Controller BDC_BODY) in rapid succession would sometimes lead to "bricked" modules requiring recovery. The 4.40 algorithm introduces a forced 500ms delay between write cycles on the FlexRay bus, drastically reducing the risk of corrupted flashes on older E-series and early F-series vehicles.
